John Burks states that he had W H Roberts attached as a witness for him in a suit that he had in the Green circuit court and that said W H Roberts was sick and unable to attend the court that he was attached to he also states that he informed Roberts that he could prove the same fact by another that he knew and could do without him he states that he directed his lawyer to have the attachment agst Roberts dismissed as he had told him he could do without him this 8 day of Jany 1864
