D^r Sir enclosed please find petition for the benefit of Mrs M. J. Young and in calling your attention it would breefly state that at the time the fine was obtained against her E. S. Craig Esqr was Prosecuting attorney and that it never was his intention to prosecute ~~the~~ its collection, he knowing Mrs Y^s inability to pay it. since the election of the present Commonwealth^s attorney he has revised the judgement is about to try to enforce its collection. Mr Dupee knows nothing about Mrs Y'^s totally inability to pay, E. S. Craig Esqr I understand will address you a letter in the behalf of Mrs Y. your kind interposition in the behalf of the Widow will greatly oblige your petitioners.
