You will find a petition presented you throught this male by M^r J. W Roby asking you to parden a fine or fines adjudg against him by the Grand jury of this County

Permit me to say to you that I am in full possession of all the facts in the case as the ourage was committed on My Brother who was. them acting Deputy Sheriff for myself. and I do unhesitateingly say that it was the worst out Rage I ever knew before this Rebellion it was about the commensement of the Rebellion in this county. I would Refer you to Judg Coring Judg Graham & W. B. Jones for full particklers for full particklers of the out Rage. I could get a Remonstrance, with any amount of names in Reasoned of the first citizens of of our county
I hope you will find it consistant with your Duty after in vestigating the matter to sustain the Verdict of the Jury's of this county.
