To his Excelence of the govenor of the commonwealth of Kentuckey

your petitioner John R Evans and L. T. Barton Wold Respectifull Represent that ~~some~~ in the yeare 18643 that they ware keeping atavern in Londen Kentuckey and that they failed for a certain tim to set up the Tavrn Rates in ther Tavrn house and that at the March Term of Said courte that they was indited for failing to set up the Rates in the tavrn House and on Said ~~judgement~~ inditement a judgement Renderd against them for the Sum of Seventy five dollars and that they did not know that they ware Required to set up said Rates in his tavrn house and had no intention of violating the law and that they are Pore and has not the meanes to pay the ~~debt~~ ^fine^ and to do justice to the Remainder of ther familey

Wheare for they pay that your Excelence Remit the fine and set asid the Judgment and for all Proper Releaf
