To the Marshal of the City of Lexington — Greeting

YOU ARE HEREBY COMMANDED TO SUMMON
W. A. Lindsay to appear before the Lexington City Court, on the 23^rd day of Feby 1865, to answer to the City of Lexington, why he should not be fined for Keeping open his tavern Saloon on Sunday on the 5^th day of Feby 1865, within the limits of the City of Lexington, contrary to the Ordinances of the City of Lexington in such cases made and provided, and against the peace and dignity of the City, and then make return how you have executed this warrant.

WITNESS: The Clerk of our said Court at Lexington, this 8 day of Feby 1865.
