The grand Jury of Adair County in the name & by the authority of the commonwealth of Ky, accuse John W Barbee of the offence of Bigamy committed as follows (viz) The said John W Barbee on the [ ] day of [ ] in the year 1862 in the county aforesaid being then & there a married man and his first wife being still alive and not having been absent from the state of Ky as much as five years, nor divorced from the said Barbee as much as twelve months did then and there marry Miss [ ] Burrass unlawfully and feloniously and against the peace & dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky
