On this 4^th day of May 1865 Personally appeared before me a Notary Public for s^d County — Doct James Ireland & W P Thorn — who being duly sworn certify — that on the 16^th day of January 1865 Thomas Williams & family were boarding at the house of W K Thorn & that on the date above named & before & subsequent to sd date the wife of s^d Thomas Williams was sick & afflicted with Jaundice which required medical attention & constant attendance, that her husband was the only person she had to wait on her — & Deponent (Ireland) states that the facts are fresh in his recollection as he was the attendant Physician of Mrs Williams at the time Deponents state that they are in no way related to sd Williams or family —
