Sir the undersigned petitioners would respectfully represent to your excellency that at the February Term of the Livingston circuit court there was a Judgement against One John S Myrick for sixty dollars & costs for keeping a tipling house in said county ~~now sir~~ and we are informed that said Judgement was erroneaus from the fact that the name of John S Myrick was substituted for John W Myrick and farther at the time said house was kept the said John S Myrick was not even a citizen of the county the error consists in not having the proper person before the court the said John S Myrick being very ill at the time of said court was unable to defend now in view of the premises we ask your excellency to remit the fine the said Myricck is poor man and as such deserves to be aided this March 4^th 1865
