Your Petitioners
Would respectfully represent unto your Excelency, that J. H Glover being under Indictments in the Madison Circuit Court one for carrying a Concealed Weapon & the other for Malicious Shooting. He was admited to Bail by said Court in the Concealed Weapon case in the sum of $100. & in the other in the sum of $200. and to get security on said Bail Bonds Glover on the 11^th of Aug 1860 executed to A. P. White a Mortgage on a small lot of ground in Madison county to secure him as his Bail, White then entered upon said Bonds as Glovers surity. At a subsequent Term of the Court Glover failing to appear both Bondsmen forfeited. White then filed his Bill to forclose the Mortgage to indemnify him as Bail afs^d and had said Lot of ground sold, which brought at Public sale $375 — The Commonwealths Attorney^s per cent of which is $9" — leaving for distribution amongst Glovers creditors after paying cost about $250 — provided White should be released from liability as Glover^s Bail —

The undersigned under the facts respectfully request your Excelency to relieve said White & remit said forfeiture except cost & officers fees so that the creditors who are worthy may get the benefit of the residue
