The Grand jury of Madison County in the name and by the at authority of the Commonwealth of Kentucky accuse James M Schackelford of the — committed of as follows, Viz: the Said James M Schackelford on the 30th day of June 1865 in the County aforesaid Willfully and Maliciously shot at and wounded Squire Turner with a gun loaded with leaden balls and of other hard substances with the intent to Kill him but from which shooting and wounding the said Turner did not die, against the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky
