I Nicholas Lawson upon oath Say that I am a resident citizen of New Albany, Indiana, that I am personally and well acquainted with William Ramsey, Junior, having known him intimately for Six years past having rented a part of the house of his Father, William Ramsey, ~~Junior~~ Senior, and lived under the Same Roof in Said house for more than five years, with Said Boy, and was in a situation to know well the character of Said William Ramsey, Junior, and know that the Character of Said Boy was first rate, and his Father and family, were highly respectable people. I kept a confectionary Shop in said Building, and Said Boy ^W^, often done Business for me and was frequently in and about my Shop, and further saith not —
