To His Excellency Thomas E. Bramlette Governor of Ky.

Your petitioner Thomas Douglass would respectfully present that in 1860 he was indicted in the Lincoln Circuit Court for Carrying Concealed deadly weopens — Judgment was rendered against him for $50. & Costs. he knew nothing of the Judgment being rendered until recently the Copias pro fine was issued directed to Garrard County which he replevined — he dont remember that he Carried the weopen & in fact knows nothing about the matter except that the Judgment is against him — he states that he is a poor man & hopes your Excellency will release him from said fine. he is not in a habit of Carrying deadly weopens, or violating law in any particular.
