To his Excellence the govenor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky. You petitioner John Lovett and Paskel G Bryant wold Respectifull Represent to your honor that sometime in the [ ] yeare of that they become the surity of one Abel Bryant for his appearence in the Whitley circuit court ~~andthatsaid~~ on a Charge of Robery and that said Bryant on the day of enlisted in the servis of the united states and that served his time out and made a good soldier and at the last turme of The whitley ~~cou~~ circuit Court that the said Bryant failed to come up to court and the Court forfeited the Bond of your petitioner and Rendered a judgement against your petitioner for $100 — and your petitioner wold Represent to your excelents that they are both verry pore men and has no property out of which they can well spare to make the debt and pay the fine and that they have not the money to pay the fine they say that they are not able to pay the fine and do justice to the Remainder of ther famley
Whearefore they Pray that your Excelence Remit the fine and set a side the Judgements and for all Proper Releaf
