Greeting

Whereas I have this day received information on oath from Christian Quinot, that in said City, in the month of February 1865, a number of steael springs a quantity of Iron, and a number of iron axles. ^of the value of fifty dollars^ were feloniously stolen taken and carried away, out of the possession of said Quinot, being his property, and that he has probable cause to suspect and does suspect [...]~~[...]~~ that said springs, iron and axles [...] so stolen taken and carried away, by William [...]len and Louis Kyner. Contrary to the Statute in [...] case made and provided

These are therefor to command you forthwith to arrest said Whalen and Kyner and bring them before the Judge of our said Court at the Court house thereof, in said City, to be dealt with according to Law, and have you then there this writ

Affiants William Hipwell & Thomas Garrity Policemen in the city of Louisville Ky state upon oath that they are acquainted with William Whalen and Louis Kyner referred to in the above
warrant and that — the same parties are now charged in the said city court with having committed a Felony in this county and that said charge can be easily sustained; That defendants in the above charge are common theives & have heretofore escaped for want of legal proof & when an attempt was made to arrest said parties on the above charge they ran off in great haste & escaped to Nashville Tennessee
