To Any Sheriff or Constable of Christian Co —

It appearing that there are reasonable grounds for believing that Pinknery Yancy has committed the offense of shooting Robert T Coleman with a pistol with intent to kill, in the County of Christian — You are therefore Commanded forth with to arrest Pinkney Yancy and bring him before me, and some other Justice of the peace for said County to be dealt with according to Law —

Given under my hand as Justice of the peace of Christian County this 9' day of December 1865

County for an examination of the charge of having unlawfully shot Robert S Coleman with intent to kill, and being allowed to give Bail for his appearance during the examination of the Charge, Now I William Yancy of the County of Christian and State of Kentucky do undertake that Said Pinkney A Yancy will appear in Said Examining Court at Pembroke Christian County Ky, on Tuesday 12' day of Decer 1865 and will render himself amenable to all the order of said Court in the examination of the Charge, and if he fail to perform either of these conditions I will pay to the Commonwealth of Ky One Thousand Dollars
