This day William Zimmerman made oath before me a Justice of the peace for said county that Christian Hoffner did on the [ ] day of [ ]1862 in the City of Louisville Jefferson County Kentucky feloniously take steal and carry away from the said William Zimmerman one Gold watch and chain worth $70.00 the property of the said William Zimmerman also that the said Christian Hoffner, at the same time and place did feloniously, take, steal, and carry away from the said William Zimmerman one double cased silver [hour] watch worth $25.00 $37.50 in Gold coins of the United States $60.00 in Bank notes worth $60.00 and $3.00 in silver coin of the United States, one satin vest worth $10.00 seven shirts worth $20.00 all the property of the said William Zimmerman and that the said Christian Hoffner has since the Commission of said felony as afsd; been a fugitive from Justice (his wherabouts unknown until recently) and is now runing at large in the state of Indiana
