IN THE NAME AND BY THE AUTHORITY OF

THOMAS E. BRAMLETTE,
GOVERNOR OF SAID COMMONWEALTH.
To all whom these Presents shall come, Greeting:

Know Ye, That reposing especial trust and confidence in the integrity, diligence, and abillity of M Towery, I do hereby appoint him AGENT, on the part of this State, to proceed to ~~the~~Fort of Delaware for the purpose of demanding and receiving from the proper authorities of said Fort Delaware, a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Kentucky, charged with Robbery, and I do hereby authorize and direct the said M Towery to demand and receive the said Fugitive, bring him to this State, and deliver him to the custody of the Jailor of the county of Crittenden.

In Testimony Whereof, I have caused these letters to be made patent and the Seal of the Commonwealth to be hereunto affixed. Done at Frankfort, the 3^rd day of November, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and 63, and in the 72^nd year of the Commonwealth.
