THOMAS E. BRAMLETTE,
GOVERNOR OF SAID COMMONWEALTH.
To all whom these Presents shall come, Greeting:

Know Ye, That reposing especial trust and confidence in the integrity, diligence, and ability of Delos T. Bligh, I do hereby appoint him AGENT, on the part of this State, to proceed to the State of Missouri for the purpose of demanding and receiving from the proper authorities of said State, Newton Williams, a Fugitive from Justice from the State of Kentucky, charged with Robbery, and I do hereby authorize and direct the said Delos T. Bligh to demand and receive the said Fugitive, bring him to this State, and deliver him to the custody of the Jailor of the county of Carroll Ky.

In Testimony Whereof, I have caused these letters to be made patent and the Seal of the Commowealth to be hereunto affixed. Done at Frankfort, the 8^th day of February, in the year of our Lord, one thousand eight hundred and 64, and in the 72^nd year of the Commonwealth.
