REQUISITION FOR FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE.

TO HIS EXCELLENCY,
The Governor of the State of Kentucky

It appears by the annexed papers, duly authenticated according to the laws of our Stateo, that Thomas Fitzmorris stands charged by Indictment of the Allen Circuit Court with the crime of Grand Larceny and it has been represented to me that he has fled from the justice of this State and has taken refuge in the State of Kentucky

Now Therefore, I O P Morton Governor of the State of Indiana, by virture of the authority vested in me by the Constitution and Laws of the United States, do, by these presents, demand that the said Thomas Fitzmorris be apprehended and delivered to William T Pratt who is hereby authorized to receive and convey him to the State of Indiana, that he may abide his trial for the crime with which he stands charged "The State will pay no part of the expenses of the execution of this Writ."

In Testimony Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and caused to be affixed the Seal of the State, at the City of Indianapolis this fourth day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty=four, the forty eighth year of the State, and of the Independence of the United States the eighty eighth {Seal}
