GOVERNOR OF THE STATE OF OHIO.
To his Excellency, the Governor of the State of Kentucky.

It appears by the annexed papers, duly authenticated according to the Laws of our State, that James Wilson was duly convicted at the January term of the Court of Common Pleas held in and for the county of Hamilton, of said State, in the year One Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty-five, of the crime of "Burglary." and was sentenced by said Court to imprisonment in the Ohio Penitentiary for the term of five years; and it has been represented to me that on the subsequent 1st day of February, he made his ~~and it has been represented that~~ escape from the jail of said county, and has fled from the Justice of this State, and has taken refuge within the State of Kentucky.

Now, Therefore, Pursuant to the provisions of the Constitution and Laws of the United States, in such case made and provided, I do hereby require that the said James Wilson be apprehended and delivered to Samuel Thomas who is hereby duly authorized to receive him and convey him to the State of Ohio, there to be dealt with according to law.

In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto affixed my name, and the Great Seal of the State of Ohio, at Columbus, this twenty-ninth day of March in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty five.
