Dear Sir,

I enclose you copies of two Indictments pending in the Allen cCrcuit Court one against David Hunt, The other against A A Harris and Jerry Ramsey.

I wish a requisition on the governor of Tennessee for the arrest of the defts in both cases, Hunt can be arrested any time at the Hermitage near Nashville, Harris can be arrested at Lebanon Ten, and Ramsey is a fugitive somewhere in Tennessee.

I would Suggest that Geoge W Dalton of Franklin Ky be appointed agent of the governor to receive the criminals. I suggest this for the reasons 1^st that Dalton is a true and good man is Sheriff of Simpson County, and understands his business. 2^d It is more Convenient, to the Authorities in Tennessee to deliver them at Franklin on the railroad
3^d Sheriff Dalton has the Bench warrants in both cases, to execute, and has bench warrants against Harris & Hunt each in another case which he desires to execute. Send requisitions to me. I will forward to Gov Brownlow, with Information of the residence of Harris & Hunt
