I, William H. Towne having been duly appointed & commissioned by his Excellency Thos E. Bramlette Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky a Commissioner of Deeds (in Massachusetts) for the State of Kentucky, for the term of four years from 5^th day of October 1864 — do swear that I will well & truly execute & perfom all the duties of my station as such Commissioner — So help me God,
