GOVERNOR OF SAID COMMONWEALTH.
To all whom these Presents shall come, Greeting:

Know Ye, That reposing especial trust and confidence in the integrity, diligence, and ability of J. D. Pollard, I do hereby appoint him NOTARY PUBLIC, in and for the County of Franklin, hereby investing him with full power and authority to execute and fulfill the duties of the said office according to law: And to have to hold the same, with all the rights and emoluments thereunto legally appertaining, until the end of the next session of the General Assembly, if so long he shall behave well.
