I, James S. Gibbs, residing in the City of Buffalo, County and State aforesaid, appointed by the Governor of the State of Kentucky, a Commissioner in and for the State of New York, to take the acknowledgements and proof of deeds and other instruments of writing under seal, to be used and recorded in the said State of Kentucky and to administer oaths and affirmations, pursuant to the Laws of the said State of Kentucky, in relation to the appointment of Commissioners of deeds and of the said State; do solemnly swear, that I will support the Consitution of the United States and the Constitution of the State of Kentucky, and that I will faithfully execute, perform and discharge all the duties of such commissioner, under and by virtue of the laws of said State of Kentucky according to the best of my ability.
