My private affairs being such as to make it proper for me to resign the office of Police Judge of Harrodsburg, and having done so, I. beg leave, to say, the interests of litigants, and the public generally, would be aided, by an early appointment of a suitable person to fill the office; and as such I. take pleasure in recommending John P. Haggin Esq, whom I consider worthy and competent, and have understood from himself, that he is willing to accept the position.
