State of Kentucky Logan County Sct It being represented to us the undersigned Justices of the peace for Logan County Ky That John. W. Malone has removed from the State and his office as Presiding Judge of the county is Vacant In pursuance with the law in such cases made and provided The clerk of the Logan County in pursuance as aforesaid notified us of the same And we the undersigned Convened at the courthouse in Russellville Kentucky on this day It being the named by said clerk for us to Convene And we proceeded to fill said Vacancy Whereupon Aaron D. Kennedy was unanimously elected to fill said Vacancy. Given under our hands this 24^t day of February 1862.
