Personally appeared before the undersigned authority. the undersigned P. J. Donham and made oath, that he would support the constitution of the united states and of this state, and that he would Honestly, and impartially, & faithfully execute well and truly and perform well and truly, all the duties enjoined upon him, in pursuance, with the Law of the state of Kentucky, and in compliance with the commission issued to him by B. Magoffen

Governor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, appointing him the said P J Donham,, a Commissioner of Deeds of the state of ohio, for the period of four years from
and after the 16^th day of August AD 1862,,
