Enclosed, we send you some affidavits & documents, which relate to the case of Thomas B. Wadlington, and which were sent to us, while in Frankfort, but we left before they reached Ft — We are satisfied that the papers, are of such importance, that they would have had quite an influence on your mind, We have evry confidence in your Excellency & hope you will review the papers & come to a more favorable conclusion. Gen'l Wadlington & Col Calvert are now in F — & expected to find the enclosed papers in your P. O. Please inform them of your reception of the documents.

We wait with great impatience the action of the Peace Congress, & do not expect any good to come out of it — Present our regards to your daughter Miss Sue,
