This day came as well the Attorney for the Commonwealth as the Defendants in proper person, who for plea herein say they are not guilty in manner and form as the Commonwealth against them hath alledged, and this they pray may be enquired of by the country and the Commonwealth sayeth likewise —

Therefore to try the issue joined let a Jury come, Whereupon came a Jury towit: Val Thomas. W. H. Head. J. H. Collins E. N. Talbot. Geo M^cKinney. L. Lochery. F. C. Gwathmey J. G White J. S. Riter H. Spalding. J. Stark. & W. Winston who being elected tried and solemnly sworn well and truly to try the issue joined Returned into Court the following verdict. to wit.

"We of the Jury find the Defendants guilty as charged in the within Indictment and assess their fines at Two hundred dollars each. to the Commonwealth of Kentucky"

It is therefore ordered that they make their fine to said Comth. by payment of $200 each. the amt by the Jury in the said verdict assessed together with all costs which may have accrued &c
