Your Petitioner James S Fulton adm^r Jno Sacra States that at the Oct^r term 1859 of the Franklin Circuit Court a fine was rendered against Said Sacra for $40= for permitting his negro man Peter to hire his own time to other persons

He States that the proof on Said law was that the witness [ ] employed Peter to make a Batten door and this was all that was proved

The Said Sacra is dead and his estate is oppressed with debts and he is desirous of closing the estate

I was attorney for Jno Sacra in the above named cause and my recollection is that Peter did some Small amount of Carpenter work for the witness. I Can State that the negro Peter has lived with me and a more peacable and obedient negro I never saw
