To his Excellency B. Magoffin Govenor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky,

The undersigned, your petitioneres would respectffully represent, that at the September Term of the Bath Circuit Court, 1860, there were Judgments rendered in favor of the Commonwealth of Kentucky against Wesley Honaker, George L, Coyle and George W. Coyle for the sum of twenty dollars ~~ag Eaagainst~~ Each of~~those~~ upon three separate Indictments found against them at the March Term of said Court 1860. On charge of retailing Spiritous liquors without licence,

Your petitionors would respresent that -- in December 1859. Wesley Honaker one of the above named persones, Established a Drug-Store, in the Town of Owingsville, which is an incorporated Town, that he ~~has~~ at the time of Commencing the buisiness afforsaid procured a licence from the Bath County Court, to sell liquor by the quart, ^for which he paid $5^ that on the 5^th day of February 1860, he procured from the Trustees, to~~sell~~ of Owingsville a licence to sell liquor by the drink for which he paid the sum of fifty dollars, that the before name George L. and George W. Coyle were
merly acting as Salesmen for the said Honaker, when they sold the liquor for which the before named fines were imposed upon thim -- That the time of selling the liquor for which the afforsaid Judgments were imposed, was between -- the 1^st of Decr 1859, and the 5^th of February 1860, at which time he procured licence from the Trustees of Owingsville, we would further represent that the afforsaid Wesley Honaker George L. Coyle & George W. Coyle, are all men of good Character, and believing that it~~would~~ their cases present grounds for Executive Clemency, we respectfully petition Your Excellency to remit the before named fines against them,
