The undersigned would beg leave to represent to your honor

That at the last term of the Equity and Crimmonal Court for Fulton County that M M. Parker was fined $60⁰⁰ Sixty Dollars for keeping a tipling house

The Evidence in the case showed that Mr J H Cayer had procured Tavern licens to keep a Tavern at Cayers Station in this county and that he had Employed the said M. M. Parker as Clerk and that house used as a Bar Room was detached and not adjoining the house used as a tavern and the Spiritous Liquors was sold with no thought or intentintion of transgressing the Law and as this is the first offince we humbly ask you to remit the Said fine the Said Parker is a youth and is now absent from the state in the army of the Southern Confedrasy

and if you in your Clemency will remit the fine you Will place the undersigned as well as the said M M Parker under [...] obligations to you
