The parties appeared by their attorneys and the defendants by their attorneys, and plead that they are not guilty of the charge contained in the Indictment.

And thereupon the following Jurors, Harvey W Letton, Francis Hardesty, C C Skillman, Thomas Stone, David Dodge, Valentine Hildreth, Isral L Becraft, James K Jameson, Thomas L Arnold, Jeremiah Duncan, Jesse H Boulden, and Warren B Rogers, were Sworn to try the issue and having heard the evidence returned the following verdict "We of the Jury find William Jones and Jack. G. Davis guilty as charged in this indictment and fix the term to Six years confinement in the State Penetin Penetentiary Thomas L Arnold foreman"
