Pres Howard who is one of the cleverest fellows in the world became the security for Alex^r Bradshaw for a fine, assessed in the Montgomery Circuit Court. Alex^r Has gone off and Joined the Army and Pres will have the fine to pay unless you remit it The circumstances perfectly justify you in remitting the fine and I hope you will do so,

I think this county is greatly in favor of Reenacting the stay law I hope it will be done, but in this as it may do not fail to remit, the fine refered to
