To His Exellency the Govenor of Kentuky. This Petition prays your Executive clemency against a judgment rendered against me your petitioner, in the City Court of Frankfort Ky

The Complaint being as follows

That I having a loaded Gun on my premises, did fire off the same on the Sabbath and also did on the night following fire off a Pistol, which being done on my own premises I did not know I was doing ought against the City laws, I having spoken to my Neighbor (the Complainant) that I was going to do so.

Therefore, being in ignorance of the law and believing
that the complainant (who is my tenant) was actuated by Selfish motives. I pray your clemency, on this, most injust Judgement, as do also the following gentlemen, they believing that the foregoing petition is nothing more than should be allowed me in Justice
