To the Honourable The Governor of Ky

Your Petetioners would respectfully represent to you Honour that at the March Term of the Kenton Circuit Court, Catherine Ford was convicted of Entering into the dwelling house of one David Wescott- and taking therefrom a small piece of Bacon valued at 25 Cents for which she was Sentenced to the penitentiary for one year she is a very poor Woman and is Pregnant and will be confined in above 4 months she is not a bad woman her husband was tried at the same time for the same offince and was acquitted under all the Circumstances we the jury who tried the case think She ought to be pardoned and believing she was driven to do what she did from want we respectfully ask your honour to interfiere and relieve her from the penalty thus inflicted and Your Petitioners Jurors who tried the Case will Ever pray &C —
