Leroy D King}

The Grand Jury of Madison County in the name and by the authority of the Commonwealth of Kentucky accuse Leroy D King of the Crime of Murder Commited as follows Viz. The said Leroy D King on the 20^th day of September 1860 in the county aforesaid did feloniously and with Mallice & forthought Kill & Murder James Lackey by striking him on the head and person with rocks clubs, and other heavy missles and weapons from the effect of which blows and striking the said Lackey died against the peace and dignity of the Commonwealth of Kentucky
