This day came the attorney for the Commonwealth and the defendents entered plea of not guilty and thereupon came a Jury towit: Redmind Prewett Frank Ford H Johnson John Beaven Ben Wheatly Felix M^cAtee James A Jarboe Joseph Watson James Avritt Leo Beaven Q M Chandler C A Vancleave were Sworn to try the issue and after ~~trying~~ hearing the evidence retired and returned into court the following verdict towit: We of the jury find the Defendants both guilty of an affray so charged in the within indictment and assess the fine of Wright to forty five dollars and Nevill to Thirty dollars James A Jarboe one of the jury It is therefore adjudged that Said Wright make his fine to the Commonwealth by the payment of forty five dollars and that said Neville make his fine to the commonwealth by the payment of thirty dollars the amounts by the jury in their verdict aforesaid assessed and also the costs herein expended and that they may be taken &c
