Enclosed, I call your attention to a Petition of Mr E. R. Cowgill and myself, which I think calls for the interposition of Executive Clemency. The facts are by no means colered, ~~[...]~~and you will see that all the Members of Our Bar Clerk and Sheriff have signed a Request to your Excellency to remit the fine of $300 — which before judgment you can do.

These Gentlemen are well acquainted with all the facts in the case —
