The Governor approved an account of $0.40 to F. Nauls for repairs at Secretarys Office, duly certified to be correct

He remitted to E H. WIlson and Noah Vamer all of two forfeited bail bonds (one of $1000 the other for $500.) in the Harrison Circuit Court except $100. and respited said amount for twelve months.

He offered a reward of $200 for William Gardner Capps charged with murder in the county of Rockcastle.

The Governor offered a reward of $250 for James Wilson indicted in the Henderson Circuit Court for the crime of murder

He commissioned the following officers in the Kentucky State Guard. to wit: W. B. Winans Captain, W. H. Spencer 1^st Lieut, E. H. Hodge 2^d Lieut and J. T. Kennaird 3^d Lieutenant

Also C. K. Edwards, Captain, J. B. Coleman 1^st Lieut. and Bennet Burnam 2^d Lieutenant.

Also. Roger W. Hanson Colonel and Tho B. Monroe Jr, Lieutenant Colonel, all duly elected

He appointed Tho. B. Monroe Jr Attorney for the State for the purpose of prosecuting before the United States Supreme Court, the pending controversy between the state of Kentucky and Ohio in reference to the rendition of Willis Lago a Fugitive from the Justice of the laws of this state now escaped into Ohio — With authority to employ such assistant counsel as he may deem necessary — He further caused to be delivered to said Monroe for the purpose aforesaid the paper in the office of the Secretary of the State in reference to said case.
