The Governor transmitted to the General Assembly through the hands of the Assistant Secretary the Virginia Resolutions asking a conference of the States at Washington on the 4^th day of February next

He appointed the followoing Notaries Public W^m W. Howard for Nicholas county and Jno. R. Robinson for Taylor County

He Caused to be filed the oath of R. Brenan Com^r of Deeds for Louisiana

He respited for twelve months the following Judgments.

The Governor remitted to M. Coyle a Judgment of the Jefferson Circuit Court of $1000. upon a forfeited -- recognizance

He commissioned Cha^s R. Samuel 3^d Lieutenant.

Also the following persons in the State Guard for the County of Ballard Jo^s W Logan Adjutant. Jo^s D White Quarter Master Geo. W Utterback Paymaster and George Stoveall Surgeon

He commissioned Theo^d H Lowe 2^d Lieut in the Corps of Engineers, with the Rank of 2^d Lieut: & Cha^s A Fisher Asst: Surgeon with the Rank of 1^st Lieut.

He commissioned R. Cobb Colonel of the Enrolled Militia for Lyon county.

He commissioned Tho^s Webb Asst. Surgeon with the Rank of 1^st Lieut. Also
