On the 5^th of May last, there was sent here from the Head Quarters of the Provst Guard at Louisville, by Henry Dent Lt Col & Pro. Marshall two men arrested at Somerset Ky March 12, against whom no charges or evidence is on file — They were sent as State prisoners — Will you have the goodness to cause information to be given me immediately of the charges & evidence against them, if any? I address you because I know not who else to address at Louisville —
