To His Excellency James F Robinson Govenor of Kentucky Your Petitioners would represent that Hugh T McCabe was in the Month of July 1862 fined the sum of seven ²⁰/₁₀₀ Dollars for a Breach of the Peace before J. G. Burns a Justice of Peace for Jessamine County and your Petitioners would most respectfully Petition your Excellency to remit said fine — believing that it is one of those cases wherein the exercise of the power vested in you by the Constitution may be beneficially exercised — We therefore pray you to remit said fine —
