The undersigned Petitioners Beg Leave to Represent to youre Excelency that at the May term of the Powell Circuit Court 1862 the Commonwealth obtained a Judgment against Berrey Barnet for Twenty dollars for unlawful gaiming,, And we would further Represent to youre Excelency that Mr Barnet is a very Poore man with a Large Family to Surport and a man of undoubted Loyalty as he has attested by helping and feeding Union Soldiers on all acassions as far as his means would admit of we would further Represent that he has Suffered greatly on account of the many Raids maid into this Cuntry by the Rebels and was himself taken Prisioner by them and draged from his Family and in ~~vut~~ view of all the Circumstances we think that his Case Presents Strongs grounds for the Exercise of Executive Clemency and we Earnestly aske youre Excelency to Remit Said fine
