Bet it known that I have been living in Caldwell County Ky about 30 years and am ^and^ have been a near neighbour to Drury Kevil for many years I was at said Kevils house on Sabbath Morning Feby 1861Uriah Kevil The Son of Drury Kevil was at home when I went to said Kevils. — Some time in the Morning Captain Winston whose Camp was Some two miles from my house tho I had never been at it and some twenty to twenty five men called at M^r Kevils and the Captain inquired if Uriah Kevil knew the way to Dr Yiezers — who on stating that he did was required by Winston to accompany him and show him the way. And in about two hours Winston this Company returned by said Drury Kevils and went on to his Camp as I was informed by Uriah Kevil who did not go on with the Company but stopped at his Fathers house
