Affidavit.

The affiant Henry Vonderheider. Says that he was at ~~thehouse~~ofmy ^his^ house in the city of Louisville Ky. when the watchman Thomas Ryan come ~~there[...]~~ for Dr said Joseph Shoennybergly. Shoenbergly had come there for Some feed for his care; about the time Ryan came to my house Said S. went out at the back to door; I had requsted him to hitch up my horse, and he had Just Started, and was going out to the Stable for that purpose as Ryan came up, He did not run ^out of the house^ or make any attempt to get away ^that I saw,^, or make his escape. He did not, nor could not have Seen Ryan coming, for he was in the back room of my house.
