I John W Ritter Judge of the Equity and Criminal Court for the fourth Judicial District Do certify that on this day Wm B. Jones the Attorney for the Commonwealth for said District came before me & took the oaths of office required of him, certificate of which is written on the back of his Commission of date 20^th August 1862, as follows towit

"State of Kentucky to wit

This day came personally before the undersigned, Judge of the Equity and Criminal Court, for the fourth Judicial District, W^m B Jones, Attorney for the Commonwealth, ~~for~~ in, and for said District, to whom the within Commission issued, and took the Several oaths, required by the Constitution, and laws of this Commonwealth, preparatory to entering on the discharge of the duties of his said office, under said Commission
