Dear Sir,

John Gilbert one of the Justices in District No. 6 of Marshall County having vacated his office by accepting another office incompatable, and W. A. Holland the other Justice having removed from the district, there is no Justice of the peace now in Said district. Thomas Ford Esq., who is & has all the while been a loyal citizen, is recommended as a suitable person to be appointed to fill one of said vacances, Say that of W. A. Holland.
