You will find enclosed herein copies of orders of Court (Adair County) showing two vacancies of Justices of the Peace in this County viz one W^m F. Grady dead Geo W Ewing removed from district — I suggest John Mourning & James Cox as fit and proper persons for District N^o 1 in the place of Geo W Ewing removed — and Phillip A Moss & John Brock as fit and proper persons for District N^o 4 in place of W^m F. Grady Dec^d to fill said Vacancies.

The unfinished business of those whose vacancies are to be filled requires that you make the appointments at as an early a day as practicable.
