We E R Eskridge G. W. Beard and G. P. Jolly do certify that Thomas W Dyer is now under Bond for disloyalty that he while Bowling Green was occupied by Gen Buckner left the County with some 10 or 12 Going men ~~alt~~ all of which except two Joined the Rebele army as we under stand some time after the Rebbles was driven out of the State he returned Home

We also certify that he was Justice of the Peace at the time of his leaving the State and continued acting as such after his return. Given under our hands this 7^th day of May 1863
